2024 Taillights

Just out of curiosity has anyone tried the 24 taillights on an earlier year?
Plug looks different but the previous gen taillights are still used on SLE models of the truck so I don't think they'd change the whole wiring of a truck for a trim level but I guess what do I know lol

Yeah same size, only difference on 24+ is harness

Same bro!! If I knew someone with a 24 I'd do some testing but unfortunately my bud joined the dark side and got a new Ram 2500 instead

Okay so i just spoke to my guy at DIYGEN5 they are gonna work on a harness if it is possible and get back to me. So i will keep you guys posted. He did say the way the 2024 tail light operate is different then our so lets see what they come back with and keep annoying me if i don't get back with an answer soon. I hoping to get this done i would love to have these on my at4x

So I spoke with them today and they did make a harness that would work but have the following issues . Led boards are different on both tail lights for the 23/24 model years and this causes error messages on the dash and hyper flash of the turn signals. A resistor would not fix this issue as the vehicles would need special programing to fix that at this point which the global B is encrypted (GM Bastards). So they aren't going to sell anything at this point.

I own a 2023 SLT sierra. I will be installing 2024 2500 tail lights. I will be using the original 2024 tail light harness . I think i Figured it out. Takes some time and extra $.. I'll keep u posted as I go. Pray for me
