During an inventory search this evening on the GMC website, I spotted 2 AT4X HD trucks en route! Hopefully we'll see more of them appear in the coming weeks.

I've been on the fence between AT4 and AT4X, the X is roughly $7K more. What additional items really made you pull the trigger on the X?

For me, it was the massaging seats. Those things are MONEY for long hauls. Locking diff is a bonus as well. Also, I think it looks cool in Thunderstorm. And the brown Kalahari pieces on the regular AT4 kinda bothered me.

I agree with you, not a fan of the Kalahari, I find it funny how GM tries to market as an upgrade. Just having a tough time with the up charge for the X. Appreciate your response.

There are a few nice upgrades well worth the money IMO for the AT4X HD. The stereo is out of the Denali. The DSSV shocks are the best out there, are really nice on the MY23 Silverado 1500 ZR2 I drive now. While the seats look similar they are full grain leather with the massaging feature mentioned, of course. (Big plus for me, too!) The factory 1.5" lift, 35" tires, electronic locking rear diff, and some better skid plates seal the deal for me.

I got an update that mine has moved from 3300 to 3400 - Broadcast, which according to my dealer means it's been produced and is in QC, which will be where a VIN is assigned. Supposedly 30-45 days until it gets to me.

That’s awesome. Mine went to 3300 status according to the dealer on 8/24. I didn’t get an actual email from GM until this past Friday, though, indicating that it was “being built”. Massaging seats and the upgraded shocks were the reason I went with the AT4X.

I just picked one up on Friday, happened to see it on the internet while searching for an AT4 and ended up going home with this one. already working, pulled a 6k load about 300 miles yesterday. great truck. im coming from a '21 Silverado 2500HD Z71 max.

Congrats! Has the suspension feel when towing? What kind of gas mileage did you get while towing?

Nice! I went with the gasser and titanium rush. Found out today that it should be delivered to the dealer this weekend, probably will pick up by Wednesday - fingers crossed.

It's awesome to see these truck finally hitting lots! I can't wait to see one in person. Be sure to post some photos when you take get it!

Is it just me or is the at4x have wider plastic fenders compared to the standard at4?

Sorry for the late reply. it feels great towing - usually hauling a 24' deckover with about 6K in cargo. takes all the nasty roads throughout the navajo nation like i never expected. will be getting air-ride to help with the sag. Coming from a '21 2500 Dmax it doesnt even feel like the same truck with the suspension and more low end power readily available.
