Howdy. Just journaling my build for anyone who is interested.

Picked up my 2024 last weekend. I am coming from a 2021 Ram TRX. I’ll post my pros and cons between the two here as well.

So far my mods:
Retrax bed cover
Amp power steps
1 inch leaf blocks out back to lower the truck (reverse level)
Banks idash
5% tint on all four doors and the back glass
Replaced the stupid rear license plate bulbs with led

I need to order the auto start stop eliminator and thinking about the ppe resonator delete. Although I haven’t seen any proof it does anything. I’d like more turbo sounds lol.

Ok so how does this truck compare to the TRX?
I can’t say one truck is overall better than the other. They both have a good amount of pros and cons. Here are the bigger ones for me.

Trx had so much more room in the cab. The back seat was massive and had plenty of leg room along with room for tons of cargo. This truck is lacking in the rear seat space.

Trx had better ac vents in the back, along with heated /cooled seats.

Trx had double pain windows and active noise canceling in the cab. Which made for a super quiet ride. Loved it.

The trx didn’t have a stupid antenna lol. Why can’t we just use fins. Ugh.

The interior of this truck uses so much nice materials. The seats are more comfortable as well. But they still have some part plastic in spots.

The radio and speakers sound so much better. I paid for the upgraded 19 speaker system in the trx and it’s not half as good as this truck.

The bed. This truck has a much better and usable bed. The ram bed was smaller and had lots of wasted space.

Last comparison I’ll make here is the overall ride. It’s almost a tie. This truck rides real nice. Handles larger bumps and transitions very smooth. The trx handled small dips and bumps better.

I have both trucks and love them. Trx is a beast when it comes to power.

Talk to me about the auto stop eliminator as i hate that feature on this truck.

as the product states, eliminates the need to push the button. Pretty easy install, plenty of Youtube videos about it. $100 and nice folks. Installed one on my 2019 and the first thing I purchased after picking up our 23.

I've seen a few people mention that apparently the 15A fuse is what controls the autostop function and can be removed to disable it.

I also installed this. I like the results.

I installed the Autostop Eliminator today. It took me about 30 minutes total. It's not bad at all! the toughest part was disconnecting the connector from the panel lol. They made that harness super short. Glad I bit the bullet and did it.
