I loved my ‘19 Trailboss but man is this truck on a whole different level. The new Interior and Duramax are amazing. Really liking the Thunderstorm Gray as well!

Already changed out the tire for 285/70r18 (34x11.5Ridge Grapplers (had these on my Trailboss and they were a massive improvement over the stock Goodyears).

Upcoming:
-Amp research power steps (wife and kids can’t get in it)

-Truxedo prox15 bed cover

Congrats!! Beautiful rig. I just got my AT4X Saturday. Mine came with the optional high step and I can see it's going to be a problem for my wife. Please post your cost and install experience with the power steps. I had power steps on my F150 Plat back in the day and they would get jammed up sometime especially with ice. Have you had better experience with them?

I got the Duramax too so I'll be watching for your experience with it. It's my first diesel.

Love the truck and the wheels. I ended up ordering a 2500 just because I thought it was a better deal. One of the minor strikes on the 1500 was no available factory power running boards. I have seen so many people in the Jeep world have issues with aftermarket I tried hard to avoid that.

Congrats, that is a great looking truck! We ended up with a white 6.2 AT4X, but saw the Thunderstorm Gray on the lot, looked really good! In which ways do you like the Grapplers over the stock Goodyears, I am debating making the swap as well. The goodyears are quite noisy but I have no experience with the Grapplers.

I had the amp research powersteps on my trail boss and loved them. However, I was in Florida so can’t speak to longevity in snowy climates.

I installed the last set but I am using an installer for these (no garage at the moment and Chicago temps are a bit extreme haha). The refreshed interiors require a little extra wiring under the dash then I dealt with him my Trailboss. Pre refresh was truly plug and play. I’m using a local LineX shop and they quoted ~$300 for install, having it done Friday. I’ll update after

Congrats the 6.2 is a beast!

Looks and road noise. I dealt with the The Goodyear Dura tracs on my trailboss for about 40,000 miles and the road noise got progressively worse (it was poor to start with). During my first ride in the AT4X, I immediately noticed similar road noise to the Duratracs (common complaint).

Despite being a load rating, E, I found the grapplers to be quieter with no noticeable change in quality.

Plus they look awesome.

I went with 285/70r18 vice 295/70r18 because I’m saving ~9#s per tire while only loosing ~.25” in both dimensions

Given the AT4X starts with 33s. The difference was not quite as dramatic as it was with my trailboss, but it still improved looks and noise levels

I almost went with 285’s but like you wanted to watch the weight. I did 275’s but I’m afraid when I see the full pic of yours I’ll have regret. So far I haven’t noticed any obvious mileage difference. That was why I got the LZ0 in the first place and ditched the 6.2 Trailboss. I don’t want to mess that up.

Nice, that is all great info! I have 2k miles on the truck now, and maybe its all in my head, but it has gotten noisier! Those Grapplers do look good on the AT4x, no doubt about it! Do you think mpg will stay roughly the same? I was spoiled by the 2021 Duramax, range was insane! Not so much on the 6.2, especially with the Borla exhaust upgrade!
