I hate to join this group in bad news. but my 2024 AT4 left me on side of the road yesterday . I was driving to the lift shop to install my 4” BDS lift kit. I heard some knocking and than less than a mile it just shut down. I was able to restart it again and pulled to the side . But than it went completely dead . Had it towed to dealer , waiting on diagnose. But now am worry that am stuck with a broken truck and lift kit that I can’t return . Truck was bought in October and it has just under 3k miles

Keep us posted. The good news is it's still under warranty. I can't quite read your fender badge, do you have the 6.2 or the 3.0?

Badge says V8. Is the 5.3 available in the AT4?

I've heard chatter on a few different forums about loosing the bottom end on the 6.2s, I think there's a guy on this forum who said his wife's 6.2 seized with something like 40k miles on it.

It’s V8 6.4 . Not really a straight answer as of now. But they did manage to give me a loaner Car. Am staring to worried. I attach a pic of the message they left me 🤦🏻‍♂️

My 2022 at4 6.2 seized with about 5k miles on it. They swapped a whole new motor in and it's been perfect since. I have 30k on it now.

Been having bearing issues on the V8’s bub - known issue on a batch of engines across all GM vehicles lines. Spoke to an UBer driver that said it’s happened to a few of his associated even on the Cadillac Escalades. Hope as other poster said - it’s under warranty and will get corrected.

That's disturbing news. I had a 6.2L on my 2018, and I just purchased a 2024 AT4X with the 6.2L motor. The 2018 was a great motor - no issues, great fuel economy, etc. Keep us posted on how this unfolds.

Finally got truck back. Seems to be running good. Here is what was wrong with it …

That is some great detail from the service tech - glad it’s back. Check hoses and gaskets for leaks or issues a couple times over 1000 miles. Hope good stays good and thanks for sharing the detail.
