2023 Yukon XL AT4 HELP!!

Good Morning. So I placed an order beginning of January of this year. So roughly 8 months ago. For a Yukon XL AT4 with Premium Plus Package. 6.2 , Air Ride Suspenstion & MTP. Here is the issue I am having. It seems like my Dealer is going to be able to order my Yukon XL next week if I want. Issue is this - from the sounds of it looks like that the 6.2V8 & Max Trailering Package(MTP) is not going to be available. Only reason I am wanting to go with the 6.2 & MTP is my wife pulls a 3 horse bumper pull trailer barrel racing. She dont ever go over a couple hours from home & doesent pull every day all day. Just on the weekend. My dad has a 5.3 in his suburban and pulled the same horse trailer all over the county dog trialing without issue. Am i overthinking it? If I can - do i still order the vehicle with the 5.3v8 as long as I can get Air Ride Suspension to level vehicle out with trailer? It is going to be a family vehicle daily driver 90% of the time to travel etc. Help me out guys with thoughts. Really appreciate it

What is the weight of the trailer with the horses?

i was in the same boat. I ended up with the 5.3 in my suburban z71 with air ride and max tow. Funny I didn’t want a suburban or a 5.3. But, I absolutely love the suburban glad I ended up with it. My wife has a Denali with 6.2 and air ride.

The 5.3 paired to the 10 speed is a great combination. However when hooked to my big trailer with 2 side by sides it around 6000lbs, it didn’t love it. Handles the weight awesome and was very stable but when going up a hill it was breathing heavy.

Just curious, can you get the packages with the lil Duramax? My brother has that engine and loves it. I wanted it in my AT4x, but not produced yet.

At4/z71 don’t offer duramax. Everything is a compromise.

Can’t get air ride on any model other than Denali/high country or At4/z71.

But you can’t get a high country with the upgraded limited slip rear diff. Only available on Denali/z71/at4.

So to get the duramax, rear diff and air ride you need a Denali, which is fine but I much prefer the front high clearance of the z71/at4.

My perfect combo would be z71 suburban with cooled seats, air ride, rear diff and baby duramax.

Not possibly so far, maybe 2024 redo.
