Hi guys,
I'm at my whit's end trying to figure out what is causing this sound... I'll try and describe the best I can. The noise sounds like a grinding front left wheel bearing, while driving at normal road speeds, BUT it goes away on new or very fresh smooth asphalt. Switching from "auto or 4wd" does not change a thing. The vibration comes through the steering wheel and you can also feel it if your left foot is on the rest pad on the floor. It's a VERY annoying sound.
So far the dealership has changed the front left wheel bearing TWICE, and the front left Axle, once . No difference , sound is still there. If these symptoms sound familiar, please chime in.
Thanks.
