With temperatures getting low in the morning I have noticed when I use the remote start on my truck the fan speed is low. Even after going into the settings and changing it to high for remote start. Does anyone know if it’s temperature dependent or if there needs to be actual accumulation on the windshield for a high fan speed. Kind of makes the remote start function useless if the windshield is still frosted over or if the ac doesn’t blast in summer (only had my truck since October).
Thanks for any help/suggestions!

I have read somewhere else (maybe on here) that the fan speed will only increase once the system is warm enough to blow hot air. Have you left it running in the remote start mode for a while? Just an idea. I have also gotten in mine at times and noticed nothing blowing, and at other times noticing that it's on full blast, but I cannot remember if I ever noted how long the truck was running for before hand.

I do know for a fact that somewhere in the manual it gives a very specific outside temperature (low and high) that it kicks the auto climate during remote start on at.
