2023 AT4X Purchased Today - New AEV Bumper is Sweet!

I really wish my 23 AT4X came with that AEV bumper. My truck was only built in Nov. I wonder why I didn't get it.
Sorry and I agree the AT4X def should had it standard from the start, and sounds like just the Jan 2023 and beyond builds now have it. On the flip side, your sticker was about $3k less if it makes it any better. Hopefully these bumpers become available to purchase and you can add it on to your 2023 🤞

Thats pretty much ware I am at with my new AT4X. I am thinking the same thing. 295/70R18 is about as far as I want to push it.
I have that size on my 2500 HD with +20 wheel works well on it. I think I can clear them on my new X.
The combo I put on my X was one that I had prior on my 2021 AT4.
18x9+20 Rim with 305/60R18. Or in normal terms 32.5x12.5.

CC1999, both look great! I personally like the 295/70 for the larger tire but can’t go wrong with either set up on the AT4X. Good to see the 305 fits nicely! My level and tires/wheels get installed on Friday, so I’ll post pics after. Going with 295/65r20 in the new Toyo R/T Trail that just came out. (35.1x11.8) Link below

Slightly wider than the 35x11.5 options out there but surprisingly they are only 64 lbs vs the 11.5 wides Nittos, Mickey T, BFG options which most ran 70-72 lbs.

Sorry for the dirty pictures but nothing stays clean in Maine winter more than minutes. 295/60/20 Toyo RT Trails with 20x9 Venomrex +18 Graphite Metallic. I had the wheels left over from a previous TRX. They are about 28lbs. No noticeable rubbing. New Toyos are good. Obviously similar to Ridge Grapplers in terms of noise and tread depth. I will say the RGs sidewall is a little more aggressive looking. Some sipping but not at much as Mickey Thompson Baja boss At, which are awesome tires just heavy. I look forward to seeing how the 295/65 works out for you.

I like your tire size/wheel combo. Wish I had gone with something a bit wider that my 285/70R18 Nitto RG's. I am used to a 20x10 wheel with large negative offset and a wider 33" tire (Nitto RG 33x12.5 on my 2020 AT4). My setup on that 2020 AT4 was a bit too wide of wheel and not enough tire, but it had a lot of wheel poke and looked nice. Actually drove really well. I of course had the front leveled, but still had to do some trimming with the large -24 offset on 20x10 wheels.

I'm not unhappy with my new wheels/tires, just will take a little getting used to from what I usually go for in wheel/tire look. It will ride a little nicer with the taller but narrower tire on 18" wheel vs 20"wheel.

Did you go with the optional LED lights as well? I added those to mine and trying to see what it looks like with the lights integrated into the audio system.
Mine has the lights, its an LPO option, or other words it is shipped to the dealer for dealer installation same as the steps and other accessory type options. My truck had 3 LPO options listed on the sticker, the side steps, those lights in the tailgate, and the some bed tiedowns.

Got it leveled and Tires upgraded. This is the Rough Country 1.5 level specifically made for the AT4X. I went with LT295/70R/18 (34.3 X 11.8) Nitto Ridge Grapler tires on stock rims . We did zero trimming. I also installed Rough Country upper control arms. The ride is excellent. I also had AMP steps installed. Absolutely love this truck!

Well I bought this beauty today after trading in my 2022 AT4X. I really love the new AEV bumper and more blacked out grill for the 2023 model. Here are some pics of you haven’t seen the changes for this year.
What kind of deal did you get with the trade-in if you don’t mind me asking? I currently have a 22 with 10k miles.

Now just deciding on what tires (and possibly wheel) to upgrade to. The front bumper provides tons of room but they didn’t change the rear section of front fender well to allow for bigger rubber. They did improve clearance some by removing mudflaps, but going to have to keep a taller/narrower tire than preferred to clear, and def only a +18 or +20 wheel offset if want to size to a 34”x12” like a 295/70r18 or 295/60r20.

I am swapping my 18x9 -18 offset Fuel Contra wheels for 20x10 -19 wheels. I am also swapping my 34x11.5 R18 Nitto RG's for 295/60 R20 Nitto RG's. The 295/60 R20 Nitto's are the same basic height (just shy of 34" tall) as the ones I have on now, and about a 1/4 inch wider. But going with a 10" wheel instead of a 9" wheel gives a half inch more wheel poke, to go along with a tire that is about a 1/4 inch wider.

I already took off my factory AT4X mudflaps on the front, and there is only one area of the wheel well that protrudes to cause the rubbing issue - right at the bottom outside of the back of the wheel well. I already cut that part off with a dremel, will also trim the factory mudflap more with the dremel also. I already had my tire and wheel guy put on one of the new wheels and tires (he only had one tire that size in stock), and it clears with the trimming I mentioned above. I am at the point of not caring if I have to cut/trim some. In my eyes, for the truck to look "right", it is worth it. I do already have the RC 1.5" front level with the RC 3.5" UCA's on, so that is as much front lift as I can get without going true bigger lift, which I am not going to do.

I will post pics of my new setup once the new tires come in and are mounted on the 20x10 wheels.

With interest rates climbing,
and now Manufactures offering interest rate and cash incentives that growing on new trucks every month, that is all driving down the used market somewhat rapidly.

I took a few dealer buy bids on my 2023 AT4X with only 2000 miles. 2 were not buying stating floor plan was nearly maxed out. One offer I did get was $10K loss, at $70K, today MSRP on exact spec is something like $86K, when I bought mine, I got it bought for right at $80K my MSRP was $83K however when the truck was built was right at point where there was a price increase, the window sticker I had found online was showing $85K.

Looks great. Right in line with the direction I would like to go. I assume no spacers of any sort? Any rubbing issues at full turn in either direction?

Looks amazing! Do you have any rubbing with this setup?
