2023 AT4X Purchased Today - New AEV Bumper is Sweet!

Well I bought this beauty today after trading in my 2022 AT4X. I really love the new AEV bumper and more blacked out grill for the 2023 model. Here are some pics of you haven’t seen the changes for this year.

I did, but just prefer the minor changes to the new exterior styling of the 2023 more and prefer the high clearance steel bumper.

Very nice. I agree, the change to front clip and bumper of the '23 AT4X's is a major aesthetic improvement.

Now just deciding on what tires (and possibly wheel) to upgrade to. The front bumper provides tons of room but they didn’t change the rear section of front fender well to allow for bigger rubber. They did improve clearance some by removing mudflaps, but going to have to keep a taller/narrower tire than preferred to clear, and def only a +18 or +20 wheel offset if want to size to a 34”x12” like a 295/70r18 or 295/60r20.

I just put 295/60/20 toyo rt trails on venomrex 20x9 602 on my 23 fitment is good. They are +18. I haven’t trimmed anything. I have an early 23 without the steel bumper.

Looking great! Bumper is def an improvement just not worth the hassle to me. It appears the tires are also bigger and they are def an improvement. What size are they now? My 2022 model looks like very too heavy and I’m not into massive tires, just want something to fill the well a little better and provident as slightly more wide stance. Thanks!

Yes, that’s correct
The 275/70 is a full 33” vs the 275/65 was I believe about 32.25” so the larger tire def looks better and prefer the tread/noise of the new GY Territory over the Duratracs

I’ll be going to a 34-35” tire in the coming weeks and will report back with pics and fitment
