Got my 2023 AT4X back from the local tire shop tonight. Here is what I have done to it so far, with pics to follow:

Front windows tinted to match rear windows
Debadged tailgate and sides
Wrapped the hood (formula one style) in gloss black
Wrapped the top/cab in gloss black
Wrapped the upper tailgate in gloss black
Bought and installed GM 4" round side steps
Rough Country 1.5" front level
Rough Country 3.5" upper control arms
Fuel Contra 437 18x9 wheels, -13 offset
Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70R18 (34 x 11.5)

BAK X4S tonneau cover was delivered to my house when I brought my truck home from the tire shop tonight. I will install the X4S tonneau cover tomorrow.

Custom AT4X emblems on order from OFX2GB for sides and back. Examples of custom emblems are attached as pics.

Will likely order black with red outline "SIERRA" and "GMC" badges for tailgate yet. Waiting for my custom AT4X badges to get here before I make that decision.

There is a very slight rub on the drivers side rear tire back of wheel well with full turn left. I plan on removing the metal brackets behind the rear of the front wheel wells to add some room on the back. Front of the wheel wells seemed to clear well enough so not planning on trimming anything there.

Ride is similar to stock, a bit stiffer feel to the suspension maybe. Larger tires and wheels felt a bit heavier in the 10 miles I drove it home from the tire shop. Felt good though. The stock Goodyear Duratracs are a softer tire than the Nitto RG's so that may have had something to do with the difference in feel.

Overall I am happy with how it is turning out. I will try to attach a couple more pics tomorrow after the BAK X4S is installed. And then when the custom emblems get here I will try to attach pics of the truck with those also.

A few misc mods I may do yet:

Muffler swap. Stock it is just so quiet. Don't want to shell out 2K for full Catback system. Mufflers under consideration are Magnaflow, Flowmaster 50, Borla crate muffler (can only find the Atak in the crate muffler so far). I just want about 25% more low rumble, but no hwy drone. I think Magnaflow may be the best bet. It will take a couple months for the Magnaflow to fully break in to it's bit louder sound though.

Shorter antenna, maybe about 12" tall. Found one on Amazon I think I will buy.

Seat covers - because as a contractor I don't want to destroy these beautiful seats, which is tough to do working outside a lot.

Sill covers, again because as a contractor the sills get heavier use than normal. Found some on Amazon I think will work.

Wireless full Android Carplay infotainment system adapter. So I can install and use any Android app I want and use it on the infotainment system.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I had the brake calipers painted red when the new wheels/tires and front level kit were installed.

I like the wrap job! She looks nice congrats. I also have the X4S on my truck, it was an easy install

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with it. Not 100% happy with the wheels, kinda wish I went with a version that had a little bit of polished areas to pop a little. Normally I don't like polished aluminum on wheels, although I have had it on trucks in the past, but the wheels are fine overall. The -13 offset gives some wheel poke, not a lot, but some. I like a little wheel poke, of course too much and you get rubbing issues and more mud/crap thrown onto your vehicle. But here in Montana, especially where I live out of town up in the mountains, you simply can't keep your truck clean with 8+ months of winter road conditions. I had Rough Country fender flares on my 2020 AT4 and still had crap thrown on the sides of the vehicle a lot. Not planning on doing fender flares on this truck though.

Thanks for the reply! I am about to go install the BAK Revolver. Watched plenty of videos and it seems easy and straightforward to install. Would prefer to install in warmer temps (it's mid 20's here right now), but oh well.

I agree. The Revolver should only take like 20-30min top, well at least that's what it took me.

I had a 22 Silverado Limited LTZ and had polished 20's they were nice but with that and all of the chrome it was too much for me. The high country Silverado had a nice amount of chrome in my opinion.

I am actually happy with the wheels that came with my AT4X, I just wish they put a little bigger tire to fill up that wheel well a little bit more.

It'll likely take me a little longer as I have to get a bunch of snow and ice out of my bed, plus tool boxes, misc. Just cleaning out the bed will take a bit.

But I already have the steps down in my head for the install having watched about 6 videos this morning. Looks super easy. Putting together kids toys after christmas or birthdays can be a lot more involved than this, lol.

I've been under the weather pretty bad the last week (been running through everyone in the house, lots of puking/body aches/fever/cold symptoms), but really want this installed so am gonna ignore my ailment and just get it done. 998 bucks for the cover - don't want it sitting in a box any longer than necessary!

Yeah I was lucky and did it before we got our little bit of snow. I really didn't think about that part.

I am just happy that we are back to mid 50s today. its been mid 20s - low 30s last week

About what was the cost for the wrap?

Got it done cheap... all of it for $650.

Was gonna do it myself, but materials would have probably been $250 minimum. Plus I don't have a heated garage to do it in the winter months. Know a guy here who does this for a living, he gave me a smoking deal.

Thanks, I pick up my truck at the dealer 5 hours away on Wednday.

BAK X4S installed. Not 100% happy with it. I know sun (or a heat gun) will help smooth out the weather stripping, but right now there are also parts of the main rolling part that don't sit right. There is a place near the drivers side, close to the rear window, that the clips that extend down when you lock it close, don't latch onto the cover. I have is slid all the way over to the side it is doing this, so it isn't because it's sitting too far to the other side. I originally had it centered exactly, as the instructions say to do. Then fiddled around adjusting trying to get it to latch down in that one area.

I can push it down and it latches in that area, but only if I push with my hand. Maybe some sun and/or a heat gun + time will smooth everything out. Installing it in the winter is not ideal, although it was in the low 30's today here, so not very cold really.

I did take a rag and spray WD40 on it and wipe that onto the side areas that could possibly freeze. Will see if this does anything to alleviate possible freezing down to the rail issues I have seen on YT.

A few pics of it installed:

I am sorry that you aren't happy with it. I think I have that little space over by the driver side by the cab. I didn't even think about trying my cover during our last ice storm.

I really hope that everything flattens out with some heat/sun and you become happy. I know that it sucks to spend so much money and not be happy.

Thanks! I like it, just seems like there is a janky area that isn't laying right, and it's the actual aluminum part itself, not just weather stripping. It may settle in. If not, BAK does have a warranty.

But it is nice having my bed covered. This is a solid tonneau cover - very strong and substantial. I didn't want a $200 ebay special flapping around. Bought this one to last as long as I have the truck.

A few updates.

My custom AT4X badges are supposed to be delivered USPS today. Not sure how that's possible as they were in St Louis as of yesterday about 6 pm. But either way, they are enroute and will be here soon.

My BAK X4S worked fine this morning. We got some snow and it obviously froze last night. No problem rolling it up and opening it. Nothing was stuck or frozen. The area where it sticks up near the drivers back side still sticks up. I don't think it will smooth out as it is something funky in the actual aluminum pieces themselves, not rubber weather strip pieces.

My TPMS system quit working yesterday, I had to do a LOT of online research to figure out how to get them to auto-relearn. It doesn't tell you how to do this rather simple task in the owners manual. You have to start the vehicle, have it in park, be in the DIC tire pressure screen, and long press the right middle button on the steering wheel. After a few seconds the truck will beep twice, then it says it is in auto-reset/relearning mode. From there you have to let the truck idle in park for at least 20 minutes (I let mine idle for 30 minutes). It did nothing. Did not find or see the TPMS sensors. I am trying it again right now, but usually it will start finding the first sensor pretty quickly if it is going to work. Hasn't found any yet. I'm just wasting fuel with it idling for 30 minutes at a time most likely.

I realize that since I now have aftermarket wheels, that GM will do nothing about this. The sensors worked fine Saturday, and some yesterday, before they quit working while I was driving it. Doing online research it seems this is a common issue. The reset tools that tire shops have or that one can buy on Amazon/etc, do not work with these new GM TPMS sensors. I will take it back in to the tire shop, but I doubt they can do anything about it. I will probably have to end up buying new OEM sensors, even though that is likely not the issue. I will have the tire shop take the tires off and check each sensor. But since they were working fine initially for about a day after the new wheels and tires were put on, IDK what the fix can possibly be. A condondrum.

Also, forgot to add this, I am going to have to take off the rear front wheel well mud flap and trim it. It is this mudflad near the middle of the wheel well that is rubbing a little bit. Lonestar Hawaiin (not sure if that is his exact YT name) on youtube has a video showing how to do this. Will take out the useless metal bracket behind the mud flap for some extra room. Trimmed mud flap will still screw in the same as it was before. This will probably take me a couple hours to do this work. I will probably also zip tie the front area back a bit, even though it doesn't touch, it is close.
