Hi All, finally picked up my truck today from the shop and really happy with the aftermarket selections. I have a few more to go, but wanted to provide some parts if anyone looking at similar mods in the future. Truck started with 2.25” rake and now measures 41” front and 41.5” in rear. Very happy with the stance with having still the 1/2” rake.

Front:
- Zone Off Road new UCA that is made for their 1.75” leveling kit. The shop owner feels these are the best that are reasonably priced and after feeling them, I believe him. Very heavy duty and also look great. The link below shows the whole kit, but you can buy just the UCA for $600.

- 2” spacer kit from Body Armor 4x4. This is a top spacer that provides the lift. Not AT4X specific but the shop had used these on a couple Silverado ZR2 with same DSSV set up and worked very well. Aligned and drives great, more to come after a few miles on the truck.

The AT4X has the DSSV shocks, so keeping those of course. Didn’t touch the rear suspension as my truck had a 2.25” rake before level.

Tires I went with the new Toyo RT Trail in a 295/60r20. (33.9x11.8) supposed to be very quiet on road and only 62 lbs which is great for a LT tire in this size. First 50 miles driving I would say they are equivalent to the Nitto Recon Grappler, which are just a little quieter than the Ridge Grappler.

Wheels are Fuel Blitz 20x9 +1 offset. I wanted the +20 but the thinker UCA barely rubbed at full lock, so went with +1 to give me clearance and a more aggressive stance. Wheels came with black/chrome caps, so switched to the all black Fuel center caps. Def worth the $50/set of 4!

- Back Flip tonneau cover
- GM Parts for blacked out AT4X badging and 6.2L side fender badges. Still need to replace front grill red/chrome, but black was out of stock and didn’t want the chrome surround. PS the illuminated GMC badge GMC sells doesn’t fit the new grill with AEV bumper, nor does the AT4X tiny badge on lower driver side of grill. Will paint myself later I guess.
- Front windows tinted to match the rear

Thanks and hope this helps!

Awesome ride! So they put the bumper but left out winch!? Really! AEV and GMC shumcks
I know right! I think the actual AEV Edition will come with the winch. Dealership didn’t have ability to order the AEV one yet, but I’ll be adding the one they recommend for the bumper when it’s ready, or just add an aftermarket one that will fit

Looks awesome ! I didn’t know GM made black out AT4X emblems . That is great and thanks for sharing .

So the only reason you went with the Body Armour spacers (instead of the ones included with UCA from Zone) is to get the additional 1/4” lift ?

What shop did you have these installed at? I am looking for a shop around Round Rock / Georgetown .

Yes, def go with the GM parts for the badges
There was something to do with the 2 piece spacer kit that isn’t preferred for the DSSV kit that the shop recommend the Body Armor one for.

The shop is Elevated Motoring in Leander off 183.
Ask for Andrew the owner and he will take care of you. 10x better communication and service than the volume shops like 4 Wheel Parts. He also matched or beat Discount Tire pricing for tires/wheels. Highly recommend!

Is the rear GMC Badge the factory Black part?
The material surrounding the blacked out letters looks subdued, rather than the chrome that the OEM black badges have around them.

I ordered the OEM black badges, even though I would prefer not to have the chrome outline.

Your ride looks very good.!

The AT4X and fender badges are GM parts, but the GMC emblem on rear is not. I bought b/c it didn’t have chrome but not 100% happy with it.

I’m actually going to buy the GM ones with chrome and plastic-dip the chrome a satin black. I’ll add pics once completed for front and rear emblems.

Would you recommend just the complete Zone kit for a regular AT4 that doesn't have the DSSV? Or would you still recommend the combo you went with?

I think for a regular AT4, this appears to be a great kit from Zone, and I would do this w/o the DSSV.
Please discuss with your installer about the thinker UCAs, as a wider wheel or a 12” or wider tire will likely rub at full lock on the UCA. A small 1/4” spacer or a +18 or more negative offset wheel will likely be needed to work with a wider that 12” tire.

I'm going with the same size wheels and tires that you're using. It sounds like the complete Zone kit is the way to go with my AT4, rather than adding the Body Armor spacers instead.

Yeah, I agree and best of luck
Same tire/wheel set up should def work, but might need a little trimming on your front air dam and mud flaps (or delete them) based on the 2022 AT4X I had with 285/60r20 due to the +1 offset

finished up the front grill emblems, and made a huge difference. Please note the GM Part for the AT4X badge kit includes the little one on the lower right grill, but doesn’t work with this new grill that comes with the AEV bumper, so I just painted the the little one that’s integrated into the grill.

I painted the larger OEM GMC emblem for the tailgate, so I’ll swap that one out next week.
