Can anyone tell me if I can separate buy an amp for the tailgate speaker system? I have 2 brand new kicker tailgate speakers already.

If you have just the speakers, it would be cheaper to buy the whole system.
You would also need the speaker mounting plate with the foam gaskets, which is where the controls are pre mounted.
Also the bracket that mounts into the tailgate to hold the amp, which has the tilt switch pre mounted on it.
Let's not forget the hardware and the wiring harness to tee into the 7-way harness.
If all you are missing is the amp, I would get ahold of Kicker, themselves, and inquire. Or scour the salvage yards.
The parts of the system do not have gm part numbers on them.
