after looking at a bunch of forums I still cant find a clear answer
the new 2023 1500 AT4s have all fuses hot on both driver (under steering wheel fuse box) and passenger (side of door box)
does anyone know if there is a way to tap any of the fuses so that when my ignition is off my radar will trun off too?
thanks

That is a great question! On my (former) 2019 GMC 3500 I was able to tap into the module that held the collision warning hardware. The module is located in the rearview mirror enclosure. I found a wiring diagram on-line and it showed the wires for ignition and ground. Wired both my radar detector and dashcam up there.

I have not been able to find a wiring schematic for the rearview mirror enclosure on my '22 AT4X. If I do, I'll post it up here on the forum.

Fuse 26 is on the passenger side is USB . It is only hot when the ignition is on. Works great for my dashcam.

I used a mirror tap and it was way easier than doing it on my TRX. The rearview mirror bezel pulls off in about 30 seconds, use the mirror tap with the medium sized spades and insert into the harness whose wires are facing the passenger door. I can look at the harness pins if you need to know colors/locations for the spades
