2021 check trailer lights message on the dic

New member. New to me owner of 21 1500 serria at4. On the DIC I'm getting a messages to check trailer lights with no trailer attached. 7 pin socket not working. I have replaced it and the 2 modules above the spare tire with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
