SO MAD😡
The paint is the worst of ANY vehicle I have ever owned at 64 years old. It scratches SO EASY! I am livid…I am traveling the country and not using it for work. I baby this machine and it looks like it is 15 years old already. I’m considering an attorney…😡

I couldn’t agree more with you I’ve only had mine for 3 weeks and it’s already scratched and factory blemish’s which doesn’t help with it being black

I will be looking hard at white, red and all colors as well. Just because Black is prone to make scratches more visible does not mean they are not there on other colors. My 1990 Ford fairs better ffs.

It won't help you now but I did order mine with the Whitle Frost TriCoat paint and it is holding up really well (except for the highway rock chips you expect with 50K of freeway miles). That part I don't like is the grill finish chipping and showing chrome underneath. Wish I could find some way to touch up the grill trim.

SO WRONG! You mean you have to pay extra for "the good" paint job? LIVID!

I have a post on here somewhere about my paint. I was washing the truck 8 months after buying it and a huge chunk of the white paint just fell off exposing grey primer below. I had to take unpaid time off work 3 times, multiple trips to dealer and body shop only to have them turn down my warranty claim, and tell me I'd have to pay them $1600 out of pocket or turn it into my insurance. Claimed environmental circumstances caused the issue. I told them to eat a bag of @#$% , and said I'd swap it for a Ford. (kidding of course....I'd never do that.....) but I'll touch it up myself so it doesn't rust and I'll never buy "NEW" again. By the way , mine is white....avoid white. GM can't paint anything white these days, I have friends who have GM work vans and the paint has fallen off their rear doors.....not sure what the problem is but try silver ;)

THAT Blows! Mine even has scratches under the outside door latches from just FINGERNAILS!
I am a well groomed man w/ SHORT FingerNails ffs... SO MAD!

Its not only the paint but the interior plastic. Scuffs and scratches very easily with minor contact.

Frustrating

I'm right there with you guys. But it's not just GM. I know of a couple Dodge guys that are seeing the same shoddy paint jobs on their trucks as well.
