2021 AT4 badges or no badges?

Bought my truck a few months back now, previous owner debadged the truck when he had ppf and coating done. I am tempted to put the badges back on but not sure yet haha, what do y'all think? I already have the all black emblems on order.

I was torn by this too. Had my badges removed for PPF as well. Ordered the GMC black badges and sat on them for a month trying to make up my mind. I wound up putting them on and overall I'm happy I did. If I could do it again, the only badge I think I would remove is the SIERRA badge. I like the AT4 badges and the chrome lined black GMC emblem looks great in my opinion.

Here’s the badges I have in order, I think it will look pretty darn good with the other red accents on the truck.

I went to have my Sierra and GMC tailgate badges removed and the guy said they would leave an outline. Dude NS see YouTube and get the correct eraser. Anyway, still badged, I would absolutely leave the Sierra off, add back the AT4, GMC I'm 50/50 (so big). You could always have a custom decal created by you applied. I would also get a plain black license plate frame if you add any badges. I love the blacked out exhaust cut outs.

Has anyone used the Black w/red outline emblems or overlays from eBay? I'd like to switch to that color scheme, but I'm not sure which ones to buy for best results. My primary concerns are durability and color-matching the AT4 emblems already on the truck. Unfortunately, the photos on eBay make...

We will see the quality of the ones I ordered, got a really good deal on them on eBay so I'm not out much if they aren't great. the AT4 badges should be good though. I just need something on the tailgate it looks too bare in my opinion debadged.

Give it a test, try a little two sided scotch tape on the badges against your truck. Perhaps the visual will be the determining factor.

Un-badging is for those people who buy a truck, lower it to the ground, put a stereo in it that you can hear from Antartica, join a car club, bend over sideway when driving making it look like their sitting on the middle of a bench seat, install a 'tinny-sounding' exhaust, and swerve all over the road everywhere they go.

Haha I almost spilled my coffee, yeah just waiting on UPS to hurry up with the badges. I will post photos once I get them all on! I heard the grill Emblem is quite the pita to get off.

Hi, did you powder coat the exhaust tips or buy OEM black ones ($275.)? Someone told me powder coating does not hold up to heat. Black OEM tips $140. on amazon but not factory coated.

Spend a Saturday sanding off the chrome on painted them with high temp gloss black from oreillys, vht brand. Been about 6 months and so far so good. If it starts to peel, I’ll just take ‘em off and do it again.

I saw a brand new 2500 AT4 that belonged to an employee of the GMC dealer. Completely de-badged. He even covered the duramax on the front fender with an American flag. I liked it but not sure I would do it to mine.
