2021 3.0 transmission service interval

Hi all,

This is my first post here and I apologize if it's not in the appropriate thread. My question is how often should I replace transmission fluid and filter? I've talked to some local mechanics including GMC dealership and I'm getting conflicting Info. What are your thoughts and recommendations? Thank you!

Welcome to the site. Do you tow with your truck? The service intervals in the manual can be followed based on usage. For me, I don’t like running past 50k on trans fluid (pull a 7k boat trailer 4-5 times a year).
GM has made it pretty difficult to diy the trans service. My last truck, 10sp 5.3 Trailboss, I brought to the dealer for the service- they ran 24 quarts thru on a flush and advised against changing the filter.
Preventative maintenance is always cheaper in the long run. The tricky part is finding a dealer/ mechanic you can trust.
