And I thought the new screen in the 6th gen 4Runner was the ugliest thing someone could do with a head unit screen.



Until I saw that.
I don’t get the obsession with massive screens like that.
ETA: yes, mine is a big screen. But other than the size in camera view, the rest of the time it’s just pointless.

Agreed, that looks terrible. I imagine it is much worse from the diagonal perspective.
A faster and more responsive screen is great, but it really didn't need to be bigger. It's like someone sold their Tesla, bought a big truck, and somehow lamented not having a 30" TV in the middle of their dash.

I don't think the first one I posted looks any worse than the Toyota Highlander Limited I bought last year where it sticks above the dash. At first I thought it was a bit odd, but it's grown on me and it seems like other models I looked at, like the Rav4 had similar design

I think their including the '23 HD with their ad. So, 19-22 pre-refresh 1500 and 20-23 HD's.

Someone did a full install on the second one. Waiting for a follow up review on any anomalies, but doesn't look too hard. May do this next Spring after reviewers have had some time to play with it for a while.

I just ordered one for my 2020 Sierra Denali 1500 after watching that video. I was going to wait for 2nd review video but went ahead and pulled the trigger. That guy Donslife channel is pretty legit... The stereo shop around the corner is going to install it for 250$ to 300$ soon as I get it. I will keep you guys posted.

Thinking about pulling the trigger too, love dons life channel too-hope 2nd review pans out- let me know how you like yours please - my vehicle is 2021 GMC AT4 sierra 1500 5.3, only 3600 miles
