I have 78K miles, last 15K or so are mine. Truck seemed to have acceleration issues from a red light today and it struggle to get up to 40 or so. When I let off the accelerator it slowed quickly and had no get up. Once I got pulled over into parking lot it force stops when you aren't on the acceletor and has no movement when in drive or reverse. I double checked parking brake was off, pumped the break and there was no relief. After about 30 minutes, brakes seemed to loosen so I tired to go down the road a little further and it seems like brakes just lock up again. Rotors where hot. Any once else experience this? I towed it to the dealership and will see what they have to say in the morning.

Hi. Did you ever figure out what the problem was? I have exactly the same problem! Software? Mastercylinder? Brake control module?

I sure would like to know. Thanks!

I haven't taken it to the shop yet.. the dealer says its a brake module software update. Some people have said Elect Brake Control Module, and others say its the Trailer Brake Sensor. What did you find out? Thanks!

Yea, turns out both parking break actuators failed, locking the truck down. Both were replaced by the dealership and I haven't had any issues since. This is why putting it in brake service mode unlocked the brakes for a moment. Soon as I got going again they locked back up. Dealership had it back going day after getting parts in.

Just wondering... do you use your parking brake a lot? on hills?
I don't really use mine.
When you had the issue... did it go away for a while? Mine somehow fixed itself.. and I have no error messages... just a Brake System Control Module code of P25A2 logged. But now no symptoms.
The dealer says I need a brake module software update. (for $185) Pfft. Then I heard this was a recall. (no. N202294820) The software. I shouldn't pay for that.
Do you know the part number for your parking brake actuators?

Hardly ever use the parking brake. Mine was an immediate issue. When I put the truck in brake service mode, it released the parking brake but within a few hundred feet the actuators failed again and locked the brakes down. I had it towed from there.

Dealership said they found active codes C0626 and P0562. Actuator kits were part number 13513581 and the dealership replaced both on my truck.

Good luck with your issues!
