New to the forum and just got a 23 at4. I’ve ordered a ready lift 1.75 and I prefer more tire and less wheel. Going with a 17” wheel (likely method racing) and probably BFG KO’s. Do not want to modify and don’t want to rub. But want the biggest tire I can fit (duh right) Anyone already solve this? And any issue with 17” wheels fitting? Truck goes off road 20+ miles a week to get to our property with lots of potholes some big ones but no serious off-roading plans.

I had 17s on my 2021 AT4, wheels should fit fine.
What width and what offset are you going with?
Some wheels like the 17x8.5 Fuel Anza Rims I was running have trouble clearing the odd notch in the back of the front brake calipiers.
Nothing a grinder didn't solve. Not all wheels have this problem. It was nothing to do with being a 17, 18 , or 20, it was how the back side of the wheel is formed/shaped.

Thanks for the input. I think the wheels will be 17x8.5 0mm offset 6x5.5(6x139.7) bolt pattern,

can you tell me what tire size the wild peaks were?

I was looking at 285/70R17 but wanted to see if I could go taller?

That is the size I was using.
‘One of the only sizes I could find that there were some options in p-metric 4 ply, and C loade range 6 ply. I was wanting to keep a smooth ride, as well as better fuel mileage, then say a load range E 10ply or F 12 ply.

I want to say my offset was a +6. I also tried an 18x9 0 offset with MT a little wider but about the same height, those did rub. Went back to my 17s and the 285’s since they didn't rub.

I have Bilstein 6112s set at 1.2” lift and I just put on 285/75/17 Falkens with RRW 17” wheels at 0 offset. I had some rubbing on the drivers side but going to put on a mudflap delete kit so that will disappear. Its just going to depend on the offset of the wheel you want. Those 285/75/17s are at 34” and just rub on the back side. Front is totally good.

I have the ReadyLift leveling kit with Icon Alloys Compression 17x8.5 -0 offset and Toyo Open Country ATIII 35x12.5x17. If you are not wanting to cut, trim, or modify, you will likely want to keep the tire to less than 34" or 35x11.5. Those are likely the max you can squeeze in.

I forgot to mention, an important part to keep in mind for the wheels is the backspacing. The Icon's I have have a 4.75" backspacing and required no modifications to the brakes or axles.
