I’ve tried that. Due to it being “out of stock” I searched that number on numerous GM parts wholesale sites (which all seem to be the same just different dealerships) and says it doesn’t fit vehicle. I’ve literally exhausted all my resources. Forums are an absolute last stop for me bc of all the idiots saying “use the search bar” 😑😑

How long did you have to wait to get it fixed? Where did you find the valve body instock? My 2023 at4 literally did the same thing and my dealership is telling me it’s back ordered and they don’t know when they can fix it

WOW - Same Issue- I have a 2023- 3500 HD, how long did it take??
I got my truck back with a new transmission in 8 weeks. They said it was “quicker” to get a new transmission approved by GM than it was to replace that valve…..literally traded that truck today because the radiator split and it started overheating. It’s just been one this after another now it can be someone else problem

I need to speak with some at GMC that can authorize a transmission replacement because I can’t wait any longer- this is my work truck! it’s really affecting my business. I have full warranty… just had the truck for three weeks and it’s totally useless.! And NO loaner vehicles for me use…Who did you speak with at GMC?

No I didn’t I happen to be good friends with the owner of my dealership, but I would say call them the manager the owner whomever cause it’s still gonna be BS to get a new trans. When my friend did it or told me he was going to do that it took 3 weeks for him to tell me it got approved then another 2 to get a transmission then a few days to get it replaced and programmed.

wondering how you were making out with your valve body. I just dropped my 23 AT4 with 33,000 miles on it with the dealership for a valve body replacement. They are looking into finding a part they said a chevy dealer near by shows one in stock, I'm waiting nervously. The tech also said the last one of these that they had to replace they waited over 3 months for the part. good luck to both of us i guess?

Welcome.

I solved my problems with my 23 at4 I traded it the fuck off. After the transmission valve body problem the radiator had a small crack in it and would slowly start leaking and overheating. I got fed up with it and drove it to a different dealer to get rid of it and get away from gmc.
