AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

They sit just about flush with the top of the fender, perhaps poking out a bit where the fender curves in to meet the bumper. There are no modifications affecting the suspension and/or wheel well on my truck. As for rubbing: I just got back from MERUS Adventure Park in the Palo Duro Canyon and...

    Larger tires

Based on everything I’ve looked at and read through, the largest tire that will fit (without rubbing or trimming) on a stock 20” wheel for a 2021 Yukon AT4 sitting at stock height (which would also account for a Yukon equipped with air ride suspension) is either 285/60R20 or 33x12.50R20. The 285...

    That looks great!

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

The voice in my head said “don’t do it,” but I’m a stubborn idiot and chose to ignore it. I think I’ll reserve the off-roading to the more open, rocky trails of South and West Texas leases (steering clear (literally) of the mesquite, live oak, and cactus) instead of narrow East Texas mud bogs.

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

I have now experienced a minor rub on the front passenger side. I went down a narrow trail (into a cut with about one foot of clearance on either side of the mirrors), with a good-sized rut on the passenger side, and the tire rubbed a bit on the fender lining but nothing major (just left some...

It does ride a little rougher, but not bad at all. It has the adjustable air suspension, which probably helps a lot. And, no: there have not been any rubbing issues. I took it to South Texas in some rough back country—rocks, ruts, etc.—and zero rubbing, zero problems.

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

It didn’t even occur to me to flip the block in the rear to level, that looks much better than stock. I had considered leveling the front to accomplish the same thing, but I want to wait a minute until more kits come out to ensure I use a quality, tested kit. Looks really good the way you have...

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

Right. I think they’ll look great. The only reason, other than an absence of patience, for switching out the tires sooner was that they gave me more money on trade for tires that had less than 100 miles on them.

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

Thank you! Benefits of living in a smaller city: you came up with the guy that owns one of the two bigger tire shops in town and hunt with the guy that owns the other one. We went through a few setups to see which size fit, which size rubbed, which came too close to the UCA, etc. The 295/70R18...

    Larger tires

I bought a Yukon AT4 last year for my wife. She really liked the Denali wheels, so I replaced the stock 20 inch AT4 wheels with 22 inch Denali wheels on 33x12.50 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. They obviously aren’t as tall as the 285/65R20s, but they are wider—which is often the bigger problem—and we...

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

Should be more pictures below. Hope this is of some help. The tires fit nicely, in my opinion. In certain photos it does appear close to rubbing, but the tire is turned out a bit. I haven’t had any incidents where rubbing has occurred.

AT4X stock 295/70/18 no level no rub

I put 295/70R18 Nitto Trail Grapplers on my otherwise stock AT4X (i.e., not lifted or leveled). I was concerned about the fitment because of the UCA and the tires rubbing portions of the fender well at full lock, but I can fit my index finger to mid-knuckle between the tire and UCA and haven’t...
