Just purchased a 2024 GMC 1500 AT4 Carbon Pro DURAMAX. I am switching from a 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. I intended to get an AT4X, but the guy in front of me when I pulled in had just purchased it. I am very happy with the regular AT4. I knew nothing about the Carbon Pro until I watched some YouTube videos on it after I purchased the vehicle. Finally found a bed cover that works with it and ordered it yesterday. Went with the Tri-Fold BAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover. Look forward to learning about this truck from this forum.

Congratulations. I’d considered an AT4X as well but decided the AT4 was a better fit for me. Gave up a smoother ride but gained a couple hundred pounds of payload.

Speaking of Max Payload, what do you have on the CarbonPro? I’m guessing it’s a bit better than the 1408 I have on a non carbon shot bed AT4 3.0L

Love that color! I traded my 2016 PowerWagon in for an AT4x 6.2. Still trying to figure all the bells and whistles out..

Curious if you ever really did any off road stuff with your old Power Wagon. I did not. I could not stomach destroying a 70 plus thousand dollar vehicle to the full test. I switched out specifically for the 3.0 Diesel and that I really didn't need a HD truck. I am loving mine and hope you are too.

I only went on some mudding events, but never went anywhere that including climbing though rocks or swinging through trees. Agree, I didn’t spend all that money to wrap it around something.
