I'm looking to buy an AT4 2500 4x4 standard bed with AT4 premium plus package. I was looking at gas but not many on the lots, so I may end up with a diesel. I wish GM put the tow ratings on the window stickers. I would like to know what I'll be looking at as far as tow ratings. I'm curious on how the different GVWR change the tow ratings.
If some people can post a pic of their tow tag or post what it says along with your tire size and gas or diesel It would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That's a generic rating. Each truck has a door tag with it's tow rating that changes with options, tire sizes, GVWR ECT.

Gemarsh Interesting that your truck has a lower payload but a higher gooseneck pin weight. Also the bumper pull and gooseneck are the same, most are higher.

Seriously I think it's the brakes & tire ratings.

Do you have the 20'' tires? Brakes are the same rear axle is the same 6600 lb rating. They are both 2500's. Unless you have max tow package. Which would be on the option sticker in the glove box look for NHT. It would also be on the window sticker.
