I apologize if this has been covered, I have done a lot of searching on here and haven't found info on this particular setup. Found lots of information on the RC and RL control arms but not the Cognito with factory wheels. Does anyone have experience with replacing the upper control arms with the standard Cognito (bolt in ball joint) and running stock wheels? Do they clear and if possible by how much, I know it will be close? Have the Cognito control arms coming and cant decide on wheels so was thinking about sticking with the factory wheels and maybe moving to a 275/70r18 over the factory 275/65r18. Any help would be appreciated. Truck is a 2020 with factory 18's and 1.5" level and obviously about to do the control arms.

I have a 2023 with the factory 18ins powder coated satin black and 285/70R18 toyo AT3s with the cognito upper arms which came with 3/4in strut spacers. Works great, lots of room.

Wow! That is exatly what I was looking for! Thank you so much for the feedback. Your truck looks great, I would love to get mine set up like that. If you don't mind I have 2 more quick questions.
1. Do you know how much space you have between the tire and the control arm?
2. Did you do anything else to the front of back lift or did you add the 1" cognito and leave the remaining 1" rake?

How are you liking those Toyo tires? I have the same on my truck but in 17".

There’s a lot of room, over 1/2in I’d say. Took a picture. Rear is stock, I prefer some rake for when I’m towing

Perfect, thanks so much for the help!! And that’s with no spacers right? Got my plan together now. I’m going to leave my back too, I have air bags on it for towing and don’t really want to start changing that out at this point.

Correct stock 18in wheels no wheel spacers

I noticed your rear mud guards, install a bit different than what I thought they'd be mounted like. Mine are mounted behind the tire as my instruction sheet said. I'm not even sure how I could have mounted them in front of the tire like yours shows. Did you add them yourself?

I had the actual owner of Cognito, Justin W Lambert, call me yesterday as I commented on the Facebook page regarding this.
I was looking at the 110-90767 kit which is the UCA's 1" leveling kit. He said the stock 18" rims will work with their UCA's .
He said if I got to a 20x9 rim he would go with 0 backspacing if you don't want to trim/cut anything, and the largest tire he would recommend is a 285/60-20 or a 275/75-18.

yes I have 110-90767.

I like them. Much better than the territory mts that came on it.
Had good year territory MT also in 20 inch size. Way too much noise. Switched to Nitto ridge grapplers. Awesome upgrade 0 noise. Goodyear Tires were humming w 16000 on them
