Scotty: be glad you're at 3100... I've been at 1100 now for over a year (3 separate orders). Mine's pretty much identical to yours except with 18's and in Dynamic Blue. It boggles my mind why GM even offers the 6.2 at this point if they're unwilling to put them in AT4's. Heck, there are SLT's out there with 6.2's and I can't seem to get an allocation on mine. My original order was January of 22, transitioned to a 23, and then I bailed on that dealer and moved on to a volume dealer and have been sitting there for over 5 months now. Guess being GM faithful for 30 years makes me a fool. They'll continue to crank out retail stock orders and let them sit on the lots when sold units that are price protected just languish in allocation hell.

Good Morning. I am looking to order an AT4 on Monday, 1/30/23. I read through the entire thread, using a mid to high volume dealer it looks like a 4-6 month wait on average, is that correct?

Looking to order:
2023, 1500, 3.0, Summit White, Premium package, with standard box.

Got the call....mine was dropped off at the dealer yesterday afternoon...they expect to have it ready today. 1 week shy of 6 month from order date....I'm feeling bless compared to many......Hang in there!

Jay B: If you're looking at a high volume dealer located near St. Louis - they have 3 inbound with that config already (so long as you want a sunroof and 20" wheels). You could check with them to see if they're all spoken for or if they're available - could cut your wait down dramatically.

Just confirmed with the dealer, my 2023 order is placed and TPW is Feb 20! However, no off road high clearance steps available at this time.

Great to hear... maybe the 6.2's are slowly coming off constraint. Congrats!

11/17 Dealer Ordered
12/7 Factory accepted order

Dealer tells me no changes made to order and it’s being built the week of Feb 27

Updated yesterday now being produced week of 1/23(moved up a full month from original date)

Dealer says to estimate another 6 weeks for transport from Fort Wayne to Austin area

GMC emailed today 1/27 says the vehicle is built and being shipped.

Initially anticipated 6-9 months for delivery surprised to see it coming so fast.

Thanks for the advice, I ended up finding one in stock. Ended up with an extra package (tech) I wasn't going to order but got a little discount.

Does any one know what status emails GMC auto sends out?

So far I've received 3 emails from GMC (Built in Ft Wayne headed to Central Texas).

12/7 Factory accepted order
1/16 Factory scheduled for production
1/27 Vehicle Built and has left factory.

Is there an email once it's loaded onto a rail car and begins moving or is the next email when it hits the distribution center closest to my area and is waiting to be loaded on truck to dealer?

Like everyone else I'm hypothesizing if I'm waiting 2+ more months while it sits in an overflow lot in Indiana or if it's showing up some time this month.

@NathanK
My experience is that once it’s built you will no longer get emails from GM, the dealer will then contact you with an estimated arrival date at dealership. Mine (Trail Boss, not AT4) was built in Mexico and arrived in ATX within 2 weeks after it was built, 1 week before the estimated delivery date. They seem to be pumping out the ‘23 models pretty fast compared to the s***show of ‘22 models.

Just to note, your TPW and build timeframes were the same as my order.

After 53 weeks at status 1100... I've finally been moved to 2000. While I'm cautiously optimistic I'll see it maybe sometime in late April, judging by some recent posts here, I'm not going to hold my breath. Premium package is on constraint this week, so I just went with preferred and will add the running boards later.
