Leveled AT4X - 35x12.50 Attempt - Fits but don’t Recommend

I know the 285/60r20 would def have a better chance fitting with less chance of rubbing with a 1.75” level. Would recommend only a 20x9 wheel unless you already own the 20x9.5 wheels.

that’s a good offset for GMC fenders and wish I would have done the +20 Fuel wheels I have now instead of the +1 for the Rebel 6 if I were to do it again. Thanks and good luck!
Thanks i just seen some that had +19 or 20 and say they had to use a thin spacer for control arm. But then 0 or +1 seem too much to cause rub. So I was tying to find something in the 10-15 offset. But don’t seem like a lot of good choices. And the one I found are pretty expensive

Going a 285 or 295 width tire should not rub with a +20 wheel if 20x9 or 18x9. I ran 295/55r20 on my 2020 AT4 with the factory 20x9 wheels and I believe those are a +26. They were very close to UCA, but they did clear.

I think a 305 width or like a 33x12.50 is where you might have issues. Thanks and good luck!

Been following these posts. Very helpful. Have a new ‘23 At4x. Wanting to run either 285/70/18 33.7x11.2 (nearly identical to your tire setup)or 295/70/18 34.3x11.6 on stock rim and no level. With +27 stock rim offset hoping I can pull it off or not? Thanks

There are a few post on this forum that have gone 295/70 on the stock 18s and said they fit tight or minor trimming. If not adding a level, I would do the 285/70 on your 18s to be safe, plus will give you more room when actually using off road.

That’s what my gut told me.. Thanks for sharing and giving input on your build. Very helpful when trying to a decision.

Good to know.. I ended up having to go with Recon Grapplers in 285/70/18 and could get them in 3 days.. very limited options in that size and everything is back ordered with no ETA. Wanted to go as big as could without rub, cutting or worrying about control arm issues since I’ll be towing it quite a bit. Will send pics when I get it done. Thanks again!

Congrats! That’s a great tire choice and what we put on my Wife’s Yukon AT4. Looks very aggressive and I think better for road noise than Ridge Grappler which I have.

Got a photo yet. Leaning the same direction myself.

I have the same Fuel Rebels with the +1 offset and deeply regret not going with the +20 version for better clearance. Oh well... live and learn.

I can deal with 34s instead of 35s.

Nice looking Yukon!

My wife has a 2020 AT4 carbon pro 3.0 diesel. Where we live in MT (5 miles outside of town in the mountains at 6100 ft), we truly need a fully 4WD vehicle to get to the house in the winter. Steep, curvy, winding qtr mile drive up to our house, through thick trees so snow has nowhere to go and little sun to melt it (like it would melt in the winter here anyway lol). Also little room to push snow with my plow.

We have a bunch of kids in our house, and she has wanted a Yukon or Tahoe for a while now. Finding one in acceptable color we like (dark red her favorite), with the interior features she wants is tough. Needs to have HUD, camera rearview mirror, leather seats - in other words, technology package and luxury package. It is very tough to find these rigs given the supply chain problem. Your wifes looks great - if it had the tech package and lux package, my wife would love a Yukon like that!

Good luck with the search, we were VERY lucky that we found a fully loaded AT4 Yukon in black after searching about 3 months. We were just about to order one with a dealer allocation when another customer’s ordered unit became available and we jumped on it quick

Yeah, they are very hard vehicles to find.

She's been searching online. Texts me links every day from dealers within 500 miles who "have one" available. What she doesn't seem to yet grasp is most of those vehicles the dealers list on their site as available are already spoken for before they ever get to the lot.

We found two that would work, but both had a horrible tan/orange interior color - just a no-go for a 75K+ vehicle. At this point, I think I have gotten her to give up the search for now. We don't "need" one really badly, but it would be helpful. She has a 2020 AT4 carbon pro 3.0 diesel truck, and at the time I gently tried to sway her to a Tahoe or Yukon, But she didn't want a "mom" vehicle. So here we have two trucks (hers and mine), and often more bodies to haul around than 5 people which these trucks can haul. I knew the math when she got her truck in 2020 and knew this would be an issue for seating space. She was driving a 2018 Kia Sorrento, which was actually loaded and pretty nice. Sat 8 if need be. A tight fit for 8 but it would do it. But it was too much of a "mom" vehicle for her, plus our drive up to our house IS very steep, twisty and long... in Montana winters the Kia wasn't up to snuff some of the time.

Hell, I searched and searched just to find her 2020 AT4 3.0 carbon pro in satin steel metallic back in April of 2020. Covid had just hit, most dealerships were closed to the public, and these trucks were hard to find. Finally found one in Reno we bought sight unseen. Took 40 days for the dealer to ship it to us (they said covid screwed up trucking and shipments - probably mostly accurate). But I worked hard to find her exactly what she wanted then. Not gonna go to as much trouble now. Plus I don't want the extra $ of payments, which it would be.

If one falls in our lap that is right, sure, I guess. But I am not playing phone/text/email tag with multiple car salespeople to find her the rig she wants this time.

Well maybe wait 6 months and then the Yukon AT4X might be available. If they take the styling cues from the truck and same new “refreshed” interior, that defiantly won’t be a Mom car!
