Hey MattB, I relied on the other thread you had with this info, I’m running this exact lift and 285/60:

Installed the same lift 2 weeks ago and if you want a 20x9 +1 offset wheel, 285/60 is the max tire you can fit w/o Major trimming. I have that size in Nitto RG (33.7x11.5) and have the mud-flaps removed, plus the bracket behind the wheel liner and had to do minor trimming on lower, front air dam. Pics attached, but anyone saying they went larger with a similar offset and no rubbing I would not trust. Just trying to help you out! 😀

Thanks. I think I am going to stick with a 275 60 to hopefully avoid any trimming and not have the speedometer way off

You should def be good with that size and truck will still look great. Good luck!
Thanks. I thought of going to a 275 65 but that adds almost an inch to it's height and don't want to have to trim anything

Yeah, I agree. If you want to be confident with no trimming needed, the 275/60 if you want a +1 wheel offset stance.

If you go with a 20x9 wheel and do a +18 to +20 offset you might get a 275/65 to work and be ok.

Thanks. I think I'm getting the TIS544BM 0 offset with 275 60 2

TireBuyer.com has 20% off Nitto right now so the 275/60r20 only $263 a tire!! Make sure you use “Nitto20” coupon code when checking out

Planning to upgrade to Fuel Blitz DDT 20x9 next week. I’ll post pics when they’re on. In the meantime here’s my T Rush w 20” stock wheels - no lift.

Here’s a crappy pic of mine.. Titanium Rush, 20x9 0 offset. 295/60/20 Toyo open county AT3. Suspension up front consists of Bilstein upper arms, Motofab 1” lower and .5” upper spacer. Running the spacers only until my back ordered Bilstein 6112’s show up. Rear suspension is factory block and Bilstein 5160. Didn’t do much to get the tires to not rub other than set caster to a positive 4 degrees and remove mud flap bracket. Once bracket was removed, I drilled a hole in flap aligned with bracket mounting hole on body, and used bracket bolt to pull the flap back a bit. The 4 degrees of caster is key though. That alone netted 3/8” clearance in rear. But no trimming or cutting whatsoever. This combo does rub ever so slightly backing out of a incline with wheels cranked, but not enough to worry about. With a slightly smaller 285/60/20, caster at 4 degrees and bracket removed, I’d bet you’d have a very hard time getting it to rub. Let me know if you’d like any other pics.

A couple other things I might add, if you’re concerned about fuel mileage, try to find a rim and tire combo that is within 10lbs of the factory setup keeping the unsprung weight to a minimum. The rim and tire setup above weighs only 4.4lbs more than the factory AT4 20’s and 265/60/20 territory tires. (84.4 vs 88.8 lbs). On my last truck I had 20x9 Fuel wheels weighing in at close to 40 lbs and 295/60/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers weighing 75lbs which absolutely killed the mileage. The other thing is TPMS sensors. Maybe someone else has a solution, but I was not able to get the Discount Tire provided TPMS sensors (same manufacturer GM uses) to sync up with the refresh 22. So I’ll have to pull the stock ones and have them installed in the new rims.

Hey Brad, great looking truck!

It took Discount Tire over an hour to get the TPMS to sync as their software was not working with the refreshed 2022 Sierra. They eventually got them to work by tricking their computer to think it was syncing a 2021 Yukon and that did the trick and they work perfect.

Thanks man! And that’s the best news I’ve heard all week! That’ll save me and others a lot of headaches. Maybe I can see if Discount Tire can will make it a chain wide service bulletin for theses trucks. Thanks again!
