Refreshed order to be delivered next week- GMC just increased price by $4k

Sounds like they want to charge you more than they originally agreed to and then blame it on GMC. GMC raised the prices a little while back but not that much. Have you run it through the configurator and compared it to your original build to see the price difference?

Yes I have. The same build is the new price.
I think they don’t want to honor the price we agreed on because they can get it for $4k more.

Here’s a screenshot of one of my reservation emails, saying you’re locked in at time of order. GM should be crediting your dealer the difference in MSRP. Hopefully you’re not paying the new MSRP and the dealer is pocketing the credit difference.

Thank you for sending this. It sounds like it could be.
One dealer is saying they are now charging above MSRP.

No problem. If you reserved one too, it should be on the email from GMC letting you know it was time to place an order with your dealer. Mine was sent early February.

It’s amazing to me just how much GMC and some of the dealers are making this such a cluster. My order is still not accepted but I’m at the point where the AT4 is just not a 70k truck and the AT4X is insanely overpriced. It’s just an AT with better suspension. In that Category the Raptor and TRX are far superior. I have a neighbor who got a TRX in a few months and another neighbor who managed to get a Shelby F150 and here I am just hoping my overpriced AT4 comes with at least a steering wheel.

Well my ford dealer wanted 20k over msrp for the raptor and used ones with 30 k miles were over 70. The trx looks like a rich kids bolt on project to me. Mine was 66 and thats all i was willing to dish out.

The dealer should honor the original MSRP when you placed your order. I placed my order on 2/22 and took delivery on 5/31, the MSRP was almost 67k but i locked mine in for 64k plus incentives for gm financial and military.

I placed an order for an AT4X at $77k and when I took delivery the window sticker was $79,800.
Dealer sold for $78k and discounted some aftermarket accessories so I was content.

I agree a loaded Raptor configured at $80k is a better overall truck, but in central Texas, you will not find one w/o a $20k market adjustment. And dealers charge $10k-15k to use one of their allocation to order one, if they even have one, so not apples to apples on price.

I can also confirm the AT4X has MUCH more than just better suspension with the DSSV dampers, which are awesome by the way. The interior blows away the regular AT4 (which is still really nice) as it is essentially a Denali Ultimate interior, just black. Also has front and rear lockers standard. Plus I think the “X” on the badge makes it go faster 😀

Reality is that all of these trucks are crazy overpriced, so spending $70k vs $78k really isn’t that big a difference and I am happy I went with the AT4X

good luck with everyone waiting for their truck, hopefully it comes asap! Happy 4th of July!
